The CALOTEST® is widely used for analyzing coatings with thicknesses of between 0.1 and 50 µm. The simple ball-cratering method is a fast and accurate means of checking the thickness of any coating, whether a single or multilayered stack.

Typical examples include CVD, PVD, plasma spray coatings, anodic oxidation layers, surfaces treated by ion sputtering or ion plating, chemical and galvanic deposits, polymers, paints, and lacquers.

FISCHERSCOPE HM2000 is a professional microhardness measurement instrument for the analysis of mechanical and elastic properties of materials by means of nanoindentation. Its very rigid and dimensionally stable construction reduces the influence of vibrations and fluctuations in temperature.

Constant measurement conditions make it ideal for demanding measurement tasks in research and industrial applications. Moreover, its semi-automatic measurement procedures make it ideal for serial testing.

Tribology and Mechanical Testers for Research, Development and Industry
Combines mechanical, tribological & surface properties of materials for an unique perspective in testing.

The tribometer comes with integrated imaging modules such as interferometer, AFM, Raman confocal microscope, for sub nm resolution, 3D surface imaging on the platform without taking sample out of tool.

Can testing be customized to fit my needs?

Yes, Industrial Hard Carbon is aware that every need is different. Contact a representative to learn more about how we can best serve you.

What benefits can I expect from IHC?

There are many “hidden” benefits to our testing. *Need More Content*

How much does testing cost?

All of our testings is economically priced. In many instances, companies have saved considerably more by testing their coatings to ensure proper wear *need more detail*.
